Seize the Day ~~ Carpe Diem

You’ll smile, laugh and sit on the edge of your seat in the theater this summer.

Movie lovers eagerly await the summer months when Hollywood studios
release some of their best films. This summer is no exception. Here are
some films to watch for!

Pirates of the Caribbean: On stranger Tides stars Johnny Depp as
Captain Jack Sparrow. This time, he crosses paths with a woman from
his past. He is searching for the fabled Fountain of Youth. She forces
him on board the ship of the terrible pirate Blackbeard. This results in
an unexpected adventure.

Look for more crazy animal fun in the animated film Kung Fu Panda 2.
The panda Po must work together with some new kung fu masters to
fight an old enemy. Again Po saved the day.

In X-Men First Class, you’ll learn out the early years of Magneto and
Professor X. As young men, they were best friends, and together they
learned about their powers. But something happened that turned them
into deadly enemies.

The sci-fi film Super 8 (aliens + coming-of-age tale) follows a group of
young people. They are shooting a film with a Super 8 video camera and
discover evidence of an alien. Steven Spielberg helped with the film.

Based on a comic book, Green Lantern tells the story of a test pilot (
aliens + superhero movie). He is given a mysterious green ring that
gives him special powers. Those powers allow him to join a special
group that keeps peace within the universe.

One of the biggest films of the summer, the animated film Cars 2,
promises plenty of fun and adventure. In the movie, the cars go to
race overseas. The tow truck Mater plays a much larger role in the
adventure. He helps British intelligence on a special mission.

In the romantic comedy Zookeeper, the animals decide to give up
their silence. They want to help their lovable zookeeper win the woman
of his dreams. Their advice on dating causes all sorts of trouble.

The Smurfs movie tells the story of three tiny blue creatures. An
evil wizard follows them from their magical village to New York City’s
Central Park. They must use their special powers to find a way home.

In the film Captain America: The First Avenger, Stephen Rogers is
rejected for military service. So he volunteers for a super-secret
project that turns him into the superhero Captain America. He
fights against bad guys as he fights for America's ideals.

BTW:Is it bothering you that  humanTorch in the fantastic four was same

actor as Captain America?

In Mr. Popper’s Penguins, a New York businessman, played by Jim
Carrey, inherits six penguins. His life is turned upside down as he
transforms his apartment into a home for the penguins.

However, “Cowboys & Aliens” is the biggest (and perhaps the only)
wild card in Hollywood’s stacked-deck summer. After a season of
sequels (more pirates, more hangovers, more wizards, more giant
robots, etc) and big-brand heroes (Thor, Green Lantern, Captain
America), and “Cowboys” is a horse of different color.
